Technology

The Soprano Titanium achieves this through a trio of synergetic technologies:

SHR (Super Hair Removal): This is Alma’s proprietary method. Unlike traditional lasers that blast the skin with a single high-energy pulse (which can feel like being snapped by a hot rubber band), SHR uses high-frequency, low-energy pulses. It gradually heats the hair follicle to the point of destruction. It is the only clinically proven method of laser hair removal that is virtually painless and safe for all skin types, including tanned skin.
3D Wavelengths: Most lasers use one wavelength. The Titanium uses three simultaneously: 755nm (Alexandrite), 810nm (Diode), and 1064nm (ND:YAG). This allows the laser to target different depths of the hair follicle at the same time. Whether the hair is deep in the armpit or superficial on the upper lip, this machine catches it all.
ICE Plus Cooling: This is a continuous cooling system that uses a sapphire tip to keep the skin’s surface chilled during the treatment. It minimizes the risk of burns and keeps the “ouch” factor to an absolute minimum.
