Sciton Joule Aesthetic Laser is a modular laser and light platform designed and built by Sciton in Palo Alto, California. Rather than a single-purpose device, it holds multiple treatment modules in one system. That lets your provider choose the right wavelength and intensity for each concern, and combine treatments.

Different Wavelengths Reach Different Concerns

Each JOULE treatment works at its own wavelength. Shorter wavelengths of light target pigment and redness. Longer infrared wavelengths are absorbed by water in the skin, which is how fractional and resurfacing lasers smooth texture and stimulate collagen.

Broadband Light Therapy

Multiple broadband light (BBL) therapy procedures can be used with the Sciton JOULE.

Shorter wavelengths of BBL can attack p-acne bacteria on the skin’s surface and in the sebaceous gland. This is helpful for men, women, and teenagers who experience regular or adult hormonal acne, as well as acne associated with a woman’s hormonal cycle.

Skin Treatments
Laser therapy is excellent for facial skin treatment and rejuvenation and can improve the skin’s overall texture. These procedures are recommended for wrinkles, pigmentation and scars; and can also be used to treat active acne, target signs of aging and sun damage, as well as firm the skin. The skin tightening treatment can be applied anywhere on the body.

Body Treatments
The Sciton Joule laser’s body contouring modules are designed to smooth cellulite and perform targeted skin treatments.

Vascular Treatments
The laser’s vascular module can improve the appearance of broken blood vessels and spider veins in the legs and face. Unlike sclerotherapy, this treatment does not require post-procedure compression stockings. The device can also address redness associated with rosacea.

Hair Treatments
Hair removal can also be achieved with the Sciton Joule.
